A New Way To Finance Aid To Developing Countries - Forbes

visite site in Chennai, India' style='float:left;padding:5px' />

DIBs are based on Social Impact Bonds (SIBs), which Ive written about here and here , but theyre focused on developing countries and international development. Like SIBs, DIBs seek to address a particular social problem. They include an outcome payerusually a foundation or government agency focused on international developmentwhich enters into a contract for specific, measurable social outcomes (i.e. a reduction in recidivism or improvement in maternal health). A service provider then works to make the results happen, using working capital from investors. An intermediary organization manages relationships between the various players and an independent evaluator assesses the outcomes. Payment is contingent on successfully meeting agreed-upon measures. The underlying supposition of the DIB approach is that the traditional method for blog funding development aid wont cut it anymore.
More: http://www.forbes.com/sites/annefield/2014/07/12/a-new-way-to-finance-aid-to-developing-countries/

Lotus Are Optimistic They Can Overcome Their Recent Hiccups In A

Having started the season well off the pace and struggling for reliability, Lotus showed in Spain that http://www.dailystrength.org/people/3007348/journal/10336643 they had turned a corner, with Grosjean claiming their first points finish after qualifying fifth. The Enstone team also enjoyed a productive post-race test in Barcelona and yet despite these encouraging signs, their performance subsequently took a backwards step at money the next two races. Although Grosjean managed http://www.savingsdaily.com/post/10-stocks-that-have-raised-their-dividends-for-more-than-50-years-in-a-row eighth place again in Monaco, a fuel pump problem ended Maldonados race before it had even started; at the Canadian GP, meanwhile, the Frenchman retired with a broken rear wing while a power unit sensor problem forced the Venezuelan out. Both races also saw them qualify well outside the top ten; however, Lotuss drivers reckon the Red Bull Ring should suit their car better than either of the previous two venues. Our target is to be part of the battle of fighting for points positions so we need to ensure we dont have any more problems with the car, Grosjean said. Were making definite progress with pace, how the car feels and generally with reliability too, so it was frustrating that there was an issue with the rear wing. Its another lesson learnt and we will come back stronger for Austria and beyond. I dont think the circuit should be as much of a challenge to us as Monaco or Montreal. Certainly there are fewer low speed corners which seem to have been more difficult for us this season and the downforce level could suit us better too. I think it should be quite good for the E22, said Maldonado.
More: http://www1.skysports.com/f1/news/12473/9347842/lotus-are-optimistic-they-can-overcome-their-recent-hiccups-in-austria
